Daryl gets his crossbow back in The Walking Dead Season 7. We repeat, DARYL GETS HIS CROSSBOW BACK!

Well, it might not be his original crossbow, but who cares. The latest The Walking Dead Season 7 trailer teases so much greatness to come in the show. First, let’s talk the Morgan reunion. Rick and the rest of the group greets Morgan in The Kingdom with open arms. They’re so happy to see him, hopefully that feeling lasts.

Next, there’s a sexy Richonne moment we desperately needed in this, bleak, depressing world. Then there’s Rosita with a bloody face, which hopefully means she’ll die. No, we are not fans of Rosita right now because she keeps f*cking up left and right. Unless she pulls a hail mary in the second half, we hope she’s done by the end of The Walking Dead Season 7. Seriously, how are you going to shoot Negan and miss?

Then we Daryl with a crossbow and it reminds us that everything is right in the world again. Daryl has his bike and his weapon of choice. The guy needed a win and we say he’s earned it. Hopefully he got the crossbow back from Dwight’s cold, dead hands. We don’t care if he was burned by Negan, Dwight messed with Daryl and doesn’t deserve nice things.

We felt a little bit better after watching The Walking Dead Season 7 trailer, but then we remembered the hope won’t last for long. Lennie James, who plays Morgan on the show, teased during an interview with ComicBook.com not everyone will fight alongside Rick in the war against Negan.

“We’re about to go to war, and the second block [of eight episodes] is about meeting the protagonists and certain events that are going to decide what sides people take. And it’s not going to be a clear division of labour, let me say,” James said. “There are some people who go to the dark side who are going to take you by surprise, and there are some people who are going to come over to the light – and that’s all a matter of perspective.”

It also doesn’t help that Negan was nowhere to be found in the teaser. Negan is smart. He’ll probably smell the uprising in the air and begin planning his first attack. We wouldn’t be surprised if Negan made the first move.

The Walking Dead Season 7 premieres Feb. 12 on AMC.
