Back in January we got introduced to Hagoromo Otsutsuki with the release of the DLC Pack 1 for NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS. The DLC Pack 2 is here and this time we get to see the debut of Isshiki Otsutsuki to the game. He's the next member of the Otsutsuki clan to join the roster. Isshiki brings to the battle his exclusive Awakening Mode attacks which are "Instant Earth Burial" and "Daikokuten."
Special Event
The DLC Pack 2 launches a special event that's titled as "Ninja Battle." It's going to take place in the game throughout the year. The first session started March 28 and is expected to run until April 2. In this event, players get to choose which one of two camps to join. This is going to be based on a proposed scenario or question. For the first session, the question is, "Which ninjutsu would you use to deliver the final blow, Rasengan or Chidori?" Players choose which side to be on, join the event, and then get rewards.
Other Content
There are also content introduced to the game through this new DLC pack. These include twelve matching voice lines and five exclusive Ninja Info card images for the character. There are also two brand new costumes from BORUTO's Back in Time Arc: Boruto Uzumaki (Time Travel) and Sasuke Uchiha (Time Travel).
The Ninja World
NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS let players experience powerful ninja battles choosing from a roster of more than 130 playable characters. This largest character roster in the history of the Ultimate Ninja STORM series. Indeed, the robust lineup goes across the beloved history of Naruto from the legendary founders of the ninja clans like Ashura and Indra Otsutski and all the way to the iconic Team 7 lineup of Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura.
The game offers different multiple modes like History Mode where players get to be part of the captivating world of Naruto and get to relive his childhood memories while also witnessing his most epic battles like the one with Sasuke. The Special Story Mode meanwhile takes things a step further by offering a new and original storyline. In this one Boruto meets a mysterious girl in a popular online game known as "Ninja Heroes" and soon finds himself in a great battle involving the entire ninja world.
NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS is available for the PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch.
