‘Supergirl’ Season 2: First ‘Invasion!’ Crossover Trailer Brings Supergirl To The Arrowverse

The first official footage for the CW’s four-night crossover event is here. The “Invasion!” teaser shows Supergirl travel through a breach into Central City with Vibe and The Flash. She arrives in an airport hangar where Team Arrow and The Legends are waiting.

“Barry, I thought you were bringing an alien,” Oliver says with his arms crossed. The Flash introduces Supergirl to everyone, and Jax asks, “What makes you so super?” Supergirl flies up into the air and uses her heat vision to carve her super symbol in the concrete. “I’m convinced,” Dig says.

I was really looking forward to Green Arrow meeting Martian Manhunter, but J’onzz is nowhere to be seen in the crossover footage or recently released photos of Central City. The absence of Martian Manhunter in the team-up is quite disappointing, although photos from Supergirl ’s pre-crossover episode, “Medusa,” show a serious conversation between Kara and J’onzz. I wouldn’t doubt that J’onzz has a way to get to the Arrowverse on his own if he needs to.

The Flash and Vibe will briefly visit National City in “Medusa,” bringing her back to Central City for the actual crossover event. Check out the photos and synopsis below.
