The Sims 4: Fitness Stuff pack has a fire breathing rock climbing wall and earbuds. Do any other features even matter? This DLC already looks like a must-buy. There’s some awesome new furniture, trendy clothing, and incredible objects and activities to work out at home and add to the gym venues. Just check out the trailer.

Everything in this pack looks useful and modern. A new gymnastics exercise mat will make workout spaces look less barren. The new climbing wall is extremely fun, even though it looks a little scary. It moves like a grocery store belt and breathes out fire or lightning sparks that your Sim has to avoid. Who the hell thought of that, I don’t know, but it’s pretty awesome. There appears to be a way to create a floor level below ground where you can either build a gym in a lower space or put a plant inside. There is a new chaise lounge, a higher tech treadmill and weight machine, workout videos for the TV, a new pair of sneakers resembling high top Vans, full wall windows with all sorts of crazy shapes. There are ultra modern seating options, side tables, glass kitchen table and chairs with high backs.

A new sink, shower and jacuzzi for post-work relaxation are also extremely exciting. The bathroom shot in the trailer shows there is more than one size of full-length window, giving builders way more creative options. There’s also new wall shelving and ceiling lights that are simple and plain, perfect for the gym or a modern home. All sorts of wall decorations you’d find in a super bougie suburban gym are here, including much-needed benches.

We will know if this pack is a good as it looks on June 20. Hopefully, there are more gameplay elements than just the rock climbing wall. While it looks like it could be a lot of fun, it might end up being one of those objects that you play with once and then never again. The objects in the pack are nice to have, but are a little useless if you’re not a builder or playing just for the pretty aesthetics. It could be the most exciting stuff pack yet, or it could be a waste of 10 dollars. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
