The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 launched Tuesday with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, refuting many rumors that surrounded the smartphone prior to its unveiling. However, consumers in China may get a model of the 2016 flagship phablet, which features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, according to the results of a Geekbench benchmark test .

The benchmark confirms a Galaxy Note 7 model with such specs exists, but not when such a model will be released to the public, SamMobile notes. The tech blog reported the updated Galaxy Note 7 specs were also discovered at the Chinese Industry and Information Technology Ministry, leading pundits to believe any plans for a launch would happen in China.

First impressions of the Galaxy Note 7 have been largely positive; however, some have considered hardware upgrades on the device as minor. While the smartphone got an internal storage boost from 32GB to 64GB, its RAM capacity remains the same as the previous Galaxy Note 5.

At this time, several manufacturers are releasing smartphones with up to 6GB of RAM, such as the Axon 7 and OnePlus 3. Such smartphones are gearing up for a VR push to be lead by Google.

Google announced in May, it’s Daydream VR platform , which is supposed to unify Android devices for an VR compatibility and an optimal viewing experience. Such smartphones will have to include certain specifications to be compatible with Google’s VR protocol.

Neither Google nor Samsung have confirmed whether the Galaxy Note 7 are “Daydream ready.” Overall, it appears that devices currently slated as compatible with the platform have much higher specs than the Galaxy Note 7.

However, devices like the Axon 7 are similar to the Galaxy Note 7 in that they have multiple models with different specs. The Axon 7 model available globally features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, much like the Galaxy Note 7. It’s Daydream ready model features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and is available only in China.

So far, it appears Samsung’s first “Daydream ready” smartphone may be the Galaxy S8 . Rumors suggest the device may include 6GB of RAM and a 4K (2,560 x 1,440 resolution) display. The Galaxy S8 will likely be announced in early 2017.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be available for purchase starting Aug. 19 .
