Certain Pokémon games bring changes to move sets and sometimes base stat totals (like we saw in Sun and Moon ). For Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon there aren’t any changes to base stat totals but certain Pokémon have had their level up attacks and Egg Moves changed.

Also, the introduction of the Move Tutor in the Alola Region brings a ton of new move combinations for the Gen 7 Pokémon.

You can track down all of the changes to Pokémon’s move sets in this pastebin document . However, there are a few Pokémon that got a significant boost to their move sets.

Komo-oo is probably the one Alola Pokémon that receive the biggest buff. Not only did it receive its own exclusive Z-Move that boosts all of its stats it can now learn some great physical Fighting-type moves.

The Fighting and Dragon-type Pokémon can now learn Close Combat through level up, and learn Draining Punch and Superpower via the Move Tutor. Iron Head and Outrage are also now available via the Move tutor.

Komo-oo was once thought to be a special attacking Pokémon, but now these additions can make it a physical or mixed attacker.

Incineroar, the final evolution of the Fire starter of the Alola Region, receives a new level up move in Double Kick (which is great for the early stages of the game) and some great Move Tutor attacks.

The Fire-Pokémon can now learn Draining Punch, Thunder Punch and Knock Off.

As for some of the best changes to Egg Moves, Bellsprout now learns Strength Sap and a lot of Psychic-type Pokémon like Abra now learn Psychic Terrain.

Roselia can learn Power Whip, one of the strongest physical Grass-type attacks in the game, and Riolu can learn Meteor Mash, the strongest physical Steel-type that Pokémon can learn.

There’s a lot of changes so be sure to check out the entire list and let us know which Pokémon benefited the most from the changes in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon down in the comments section below.
