The latest piece of Pokémon Sun and Moon news has dropped with a brand new trailer that showed off two new Pokémon and some species-specific Z-moves.
Finally, the version exclusives are beginning to take shape including Rockruff’s evolutions.
There’s a lot to sift through in the latest Sun and Moon trailer so take a look below. We included the Japanese trailer as well.
First off, we have two new Z-Moves that seem specific to Pikachu and Eevee. Pikachu’s Z-Move will allow your trainer to throw Pikachu in the air as it spins into an electric wheel.
Eevee’s Z-Move calls upon all of its evolutions to boost all of its stats in a rather awesome cut scene.
However, two new Pokémon were also revealed and they are version exclusives. The Sun Pokémon is a monkey that is holding a ball called Passimian. This is likely the rugby monkey that has been included in numerous leaks in the past.
This new Pokémon is a pure Fighting-type and has the brand new ability Receiver. This allows Passimian to take the ability of a fallen ally in team battles.
The Moon Pokémon is another primate that is a Normal and Psychic-type called Oranguru. It comes with the abilities Telepathy and Inner Focus. It has a brand new move called Instruct, which allows for your partner in a team battle to attack again.
Rockruff’s evolutions that were leaked in CoroCoro were officially revealed with its English name. Lycanroc’s forms are version exclusive with the Midday form having the abilities Keen Eye and Sand Rush while keeping its pure Rock typing.
Lycanroc’s midnight form is also a pure Rock-type with the abilities Keen Eye and Vital Spirit.
The new Sun and Moon trailer also shows off the trainer customization and new mode Pokémon refresh that lets you groom your Pokémon.
Pokémon Sun and Moon will release Nov. 18.
