Pharrell Williams will not perform at the Grammys this year, but the 10-time Grammy Award-winning artist took to Twitter and Facebook to amp up the hype for Monday’s show. Pharrell participated in two Grammy-hosted Q&A’s Sunday, but didn't give details when asked questions regarding the rumored N.E.R.D. album. Nominated for ‘Best Music Video,’ Pharrell could take home yet another Grammy this year. The Neptunes producer is the brain behind slathers of top songs since the 90’s, including this year’s ‘Song of The Year’ nominee, Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright.” He’ll be pitted against K-Dot in the ‘Best Music Video’ category for his single, “Freedom.”

The N.E.R.D. vocalist didn't give straight answers when asked about any new music, but didn't deny any speculations. One user asked if Skateboard P is back, to which Pharrell responded “Never left” followed by a winky face. Another user went straight to the point and asked if we can expect another N.E.R.D. album this year. Pharrell answered with only a zipper-face emoji.

“Do you plan on releasing a new album this year?” a fan asked on Facebook. Pharrell replied, “ Working...stay tuned....” In September, Pharrell fielded questions during an iHeartRadio Q&A. He was asked, “Are you going to make another N.E.R.D. album?” Pharrell responded, “OF COURSE.” Even though Skateboard P has technically confirmed an album, he has been reluctant to reveal a single detail. N.E.R.D. has not released an album since Nothing in 2010.

Few questions were Grammy related, although Pharrell did say he keeps his 10 Grammy awards at his Mother's house. Most importantly, we learned Pharrell prefers Snickers over Cheetos and his favorite movie is Gerard Butler’s 2007 Persian war flick, 300. However, on a more musical note, many fans asked Pharrell questions about Stevie Wonder. “Who is your favorite singer? Who gave you inspiration to get a Grammy Award?” one user asked on Facebook. Pharrell responded back with a question of his own. “Stevie Wonder, have you listened to Innervisions???” Other fans wanted to know which Stevie Wonder song is his favorite, and what it felt like to perform with the virtuoso during the during the 2014 Grammy Awards.

Pharrell was asked to name his favorite Kanye song, but didn’t mention Ye’s new album, The LIfe of Pablo, in his answer. “Love Lockdown,” Pharrell disclosed. It would be interesting to hear the award winning producer’s take on Kanye’s new project. Seeing he has probably listened by now, this could mean Pharrell prefers the lead single of 808s Heartbreak over any of the 18-tracks on TLOP.

The deepest answer Pharrell gave was a to a question about what inspires him to write a song. “The subtle urge to want to finish a thought to hear what it would sound like,” he said. He also gave a few words of wisdom to an aspiring producer. “ Study and experiment to find your creative voice for whatever instrument you choose even your actual voice,” Pharrell advised.

As usual, Pharrell shows his charismatic personality in the following Tweets:
