Overwatch’ s new Arcade mode is one of the best things to ever come to Blizzard’s hero shooter. Unlike competitive mode, with its 6v6 matches and long play times, Arcade is packed to the brim with tinier and shorter games that have all the excitement of Overwatch with less insanity. 1v1s and Brawls are fun, but the real meat and potatoes of Arcade are the 3v3 matches.

Three-versus-three matches are less of a clown fiesta than a regular game of Overwatch , but add a whole new level of strategy to the game. In a 3v3 match, players pick one hero at the start of each round and cannot switch for the rest of the game. Each match is a best of five, and plays a bit differently than a normal game of Overwatch . Once you die in a 3v3 game, you don’t come back until the round is over, unless Mercy does her thing.

Every game is played on a new map made specifically for Arcade called Ecopoint: Antarctica. It’s where Mei was frozen for over 40 years, so there’s not a lot there. The corridors are tiny so zoning abilities like Mei’s wall or Roadhog’s hook are especially good.

The round is over when all members of one team die. First team to wipe their opponent out three times, wins the match. The first time you win at this mode you get a loot box, along with any of the other Arcade game modes. If you win three, you also get loot box and can get three this way per week.

Here is the definitive list of best Heroes for Overwatch’s 3v3 mode:

Roadhog is the best hero in 3v3 mode

Roadhog

Big ol’ belly button, the one man apocalypse is the best hero to play in 3v3 mode. Survivability and a long-range engage make Roadhog a must-have hero for your team. His hook allows the shirtless fat guy to grab an enemy from far away and take them out of the fight immediately. All you need is one good hook and one-third of the enemy team just vanishes. Since health packs are much rarer in this mode, since the game usually don’t last long enough for them to factor in, Roadhog’s healing makes dueling him impossible.

Sombra

Sombra might be pretty broken over all, but she’s even stronger in 3v3 games. Being able to disappear and then reappear behind an enemy that wandered away from their team allows for some strategic depth. Walk up while invisible, to a Soldier:76 who’s checking a corridor and then shoot them in the face. Not much they can do besides flame in chat.

The purple hacker is Roadhog’s best counter. Sombra can hack Roadhog, making him unable to his abilities. Without his hook or healing, he’s essentially just one giant meat bag set for the slaughter. Make sure not to get caught as Sombra, you’re incredibly squishy and will die before you even get the chance to disappear.

Soldier: 76

Don’t mock the old man, he’s still got some tricks left up his sleeve. Soldier:76 combos really well with Sombra, who can dive the enemy backline and then come back to heal. His damage is also insane, if you let him plug a whole ammo clip into an enemy, they aren’t getting away. Combine his DPS, healing and speed and you’ve got one of the best heroes you can pick in 3v3 mode.

Ana

The last support to come to Overwatch , Ana excels at short skirmishes and long-range fights. If Anan can sleep dart an enemy squishy while your team focuses them down, that’s a really easy kill. Kills are what win you games in 3v3 mode, so poking your enemy down is extremely important. Stick Ana on one of the staircases near the spawn point of Ecopoint: Antarctica and just spam heals and bullets into the fight. If you can Nanoboost Roadhog while his ultimate is on, you’ve essentially won the round.
