EA and Star Wars have a bright future together, with a new game announced from Respawn Entertainment EA

During the EA Play live stream, EA talked all sorts of Star Wars news. Among the announcements are the already known Star Wars Battlefront sequel, the Visceral Star Wars game we've been waiting on and a new project. The new Star Wars game will be coming from Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment, but not much else is known.

While few details about the Respawn Star Wars game were given, we do know the game will be a third-person action game. It will also be set in a new Star Wars era not seen before in an EA game. The last clue about the game came during the EA Star Wars video, showing two men being motion captured while having a mock lightsber fight. This means there will likely be Jedi fighting in the game (shocking, I know).

We will be updating this story as more information gets revealed.

So what do you think? Are you excited about the prospect of playing a Star Wars game from Respawn Entertainment? What other EA Star Wars games are you looking forward to? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
