The Mr. Robot Volume 1 original soundtrack is currently available for pre-order on Amazon, and will be released officially on May 27, 2016. It’s currently listed at $14.99. Volume 2 of the Mr. Robot soundtrack will supposedly be released the same day as well.

The score for Mr. Robot was composed by Mac Quayle , an Emmy-nominated composer with credits such as American Horror Story: Freak Show, Scream Queens and The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. He recently conducted an AMA on reddit , where he described Mr. Robot as “a big, original, and interesting science-fiction film that I would get to score in a very non-Hollywood typical way.”

“I’m told that Season 2 is going to be a lot weirder than Season 1. I’m working on the final episode of Season 1 now and that might give a hint as to the new sounds for Season 2,” Quayle wrote . “It's very exciting to be part of this show, especially since I am a fan of it. I would be watching it even if I wasn’t working on it.”

The soundtrack will be available on vinyl as well, although as one redditor pointed out, with 51 tracks and 2.5 hours of music they’ll have a hard time fitting it all on the record. If you’re curious as to what the Mr. Robot score sounds like — Quayle said he looks at Trent Reznor as a source of inspiration — below is a YouTube playlist of the Mr. Robot score.
