Injustice 2: How To Find And Download Atom

Fighter Pack 3 is finally available for Injustice 2, with the inclusion of the Atom. Fans can now battle it out with the incredible shrinking superhero for PS4 and Xbox One.

The Atom brings an array of abilities and new combos. Ryan Choi will be able to shrink to avoid projectiles and attacks, and can even hover behind the opponent to catch them off guard. Not to mention Atom’s super that lets him shrink and grow in size to deal massive damage.

Those who have Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition or have purchased the season pass will be able to download Atom starting Dec. 12. Those looking to purchase him individually will have to wait a week. In keeping with past character releases, a tower will appear in-game to let players try him out until he’s available for everyone.

Players looking to download Atom for both PS4 and Xbox One can follow the steps in this guide. Players on PC will have to wait for Atom until a later date, but Hellboy will be available to download starting today.

On PS4, players can verify content has been downloaded by doing the following:

1. Visit the Injustice 2 page on the PS4 Home Menu or Game Library.
2. Select the game and scroll down to the "Related Items" section at the bottom. It should be under PlayStation Store at the bottom.
3. From the My Add-ons section, manually download individual pieces of owned content.
4. Players who own the Ultimate Edition, Deluxe Edition or Fighter Pack 3 can also click “View All” to see store options. The DLC should be available for “Free” if it has not been downloaded.

On Xbox One, players can verify content has been downloaded by doing the following:

1. Go to My Games and Apps.
2. Locate Injustice 2 and press Menu.
3. Select Manage Game.
4. Scroll all the way to the right on this menu to see what DLC is Ready to Install, and start those installs.

If Atom is still not playable after the DLC has downloaded successfully, try the following:

1. Start the game and get to the Main Menu.
2. Allow the game to Idle for a minute or two, long enough for an AI battle to automatically start.
3. Once the AI battle has started, you can interrupt it by pressing any button.
4. Atom should now be available to play if you own the DLC.
5. Go into the online menu for a few moments, then return to the main menu. Atom should be available to play.
