The Crackdown team may have revealed some important info, such as a release window and resolution, while streaming on Twitch. Thanks to NeoGAF user Chris1, those tidbits of information have been saved for all to see.

In the first clip, we can see the development team sitting around playing WWE 2K17 and answering fan questions. When reading out the question “Are we looking for holiday 2017 for Crackdown release?” the team answered with “Yeah, or sooner.”

While this isn’t a definite release date, we can probably expect to see Crackdown 3 between September and December of 2017. Seeing as how we also know the Xbox Scorpio will release in the 2017 holiday season, this could put Crackdown 3 as a launch title for the device. Game development can be troublesome, so this could get delayed further depending on how things go.

In the second clip, a developer read the question “4K on Scorpio?” This was answered with a thumbs up and the word “Check.” It’s not too surprising that a Microsoft-owned game would take the most advantage of the latest Microsoft console, but it still is exciting to know that Crackdown 3 will be in 4K on the Scorpio. This isn’t a confirmation for resolution on Xbox One, but probably means 4K support will be available for those gaming on an Xbox One S.

So what do you think? Are you still interested in Crackdown 3? Will you be getting a Scorpio, or are you waiting to hear more information on it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
