‘Clash Of Clans’ Update: Supercell Responds To Player Issues, Bugs

Supercell has released an update addressing some of the bugs and issues Clash of Clans players have complained about online after the Clash of Clans March update, but it seems that it hasn’t resolved most of the issues.

The maintenance update did revert healers’ heal rates on heroes back to normal (Supercell had inadvertently set these rates to 70 percent), fixed traps not triggering from heroes, tweaked matchmaking for clans, decreased the health points for valkyrie, adjusted the discrepancies between live and replay results and made sure notifications are working on multi devices.

The Clash of Clans March update added a new Dark Elixir troops called a Bowler (unlockable at Town Hall 10), new levels for the inferno tower and mortars at Town Hall 11, and new levels for hog riders, valkyries and goblins at Town Hall 10.

So what exactly are Clash of Clans players complaining about? The forums are saying that new war matching systems place too much importance on streaks, and don’t address the fundamental issues present in the previous system. Adding new elements to the war matching system is just adding fuel to the fire. For example, players who max out their town hall levels often find themselves penalized in a certain way compared to players who purposely don’t upgrade certain buildings so they can be match with lower level opponents.

Other complaints include confusion about why the inferno towers had their levels increased, and exactly how a Clash of Clans player was supposed to defeat a Town Hall 10 or 11 in under three minutes.
