The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Nintendo Switch Brings Link Weapons And Clothes

During the Bethesda E3 2017 press conference, a new trailer for the Nintendo Switch version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was unveiled with content from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

In-game footage was shown in the Skyrim Nintendo Switch trailer , including how the Joy Cons work with the game and if players tap Breath of the Wild amiibo, they can equip their character with Link’s weapons and blue clothing from the hit Switch game.

There wasn’t much information on the Nintendo Switch version for Skyrim but it looks to be the same version that console players have loved for years but with the aforementioned Breath of the Wild content.

Here’s the official description of what fans should expect from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch.

“The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch includes all-new gameplay features like motion controls for combat and lockpicking, outfits and gear from The Legend of Zelda. Take down enemies with the Master Sword, protect yourself with the Hylian Shield or look heroic in the Champion’s Tunic. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch also includes all official add-ons: Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn. Plus tap other compatible amiibo to gain additional loot including those from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild series, 30th Anniversary - The Legend of Zelda series, Super Smash Bros. series, and The Legend of Zelda series.”

A hard release date for Nintendo Switch wasn’t announced but Bethesda’s Pete Hines confirmed that everything that was shown during the press conference would come out in 2017.
