It seems like just yesterday Ubisoft introduced the gaming community into the sprawling world of Assassin’s Creed. Believe it or not, but that was 10 years ago! To celebrate the franchise surviving for over a decade, and to get fans excited for Assassin’s Creed Origins, U.K. gambling site Best Online Casino has created an infographic detailing the in-game history, ranging from 75,100 BC to present day.

While not covered by any game, the story of Assassin’s Creed begins at 75,100 BC. Way back when, Earth was populated by a highly advanced civilization. These people created homo sapiens and used them as a source of slave labor. The organization of Assassins was started when Adam and Eve stole from the advanced civilization, taking the Apple of Eden.

Unfortunately, the infographic doesn’t cover the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins, and skips right over to the first Assassin’s Creed, set in 1191. For those who want to know, Origins will chronologically be the earliest game in the franchise, set during the Ptolemaic rule of Egypt (305 BC-30 BC). Specific dates for Origins have not yet been confirmed.

The infographic goes all the way up to 2016, when the most recent events in the franchise occurred. All mainline games are covered below, as well as the Assassin’s Creed movie.

Some important milestones include the founding of Abstergo Industries in 1937, as well as the solar flare in 2012 that ended Desmond Miles’ story.

It would have been cool to see how the smaller Assassin’s Creed games, like the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles entries, also fit into the overall universe. That would probably make for too long of an infographic though.

So what do you think? Are you excited to try out Assassin’s Creed Origins when it releases this October? What has been your favorite Assassin’s Creed game so far? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
