After being suspended and appearing on and off again in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, the Welcome to Toon World event is finally live.
Until Feb. 8, duelists in Duel Links can earn Star Chips by winning duels. You then use these Star Chips to duel Pegasus and have access to many of his cards including Relinquished and his Toon Cards.
If you collect enough event points, you can even unlock Pegasus (you’ll need 35000 points) and receive items including gems, gold and stones for trading. Defeat Pegasus at Level 10 to unlock Level 20 and so forth.
Each level gives a multiplier to your Duel Assessment, which in term determines how many points you earned. You’re better off dueling at level 20 and above to increase your points as fast as possible.

Some important notes from the in-game announcement. The Welcome to Toon World event is only lasting until Feb 8. But may be held again in the future. Star Chips will be converted to Gold at a rate of three gold per Star Chip when the event is over.
