Rainbow Six Siege's EU League 2020 just concluded its seventh playday and the results are here. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the matches have been held online. EU League 2020 had some really exciting matches to watch this week. We got to see G2 destroy their opponents and some new teams like Team Secret and Tempra finally showing improvement in their debut matches for the EU League.

Virtus.pro faced Rogue on the reworked Oregon map, which resulted in a really tight game for Virtus.pro as they lost 5-7. Rogue’s coordination has been helping them dominate the season so far, and their efforts have paid off with a first place spot on the R6EUL leaderboard. The matchup between the two teams taught us a lot about how to play the map, whether it be ranked or competitive.

The most anticipated matchup from yesterday was G2 vs Chaos. G2 proved their dominance as a super team by destroying Chaos 7-1 on Kafe Dostoyevsky. While G2 is known to be a frag heavy team, beating Chaos on Kafe proved that they can counter-strat as well. G2 did meme around a little by bringing in operators such as Blitz, Ying, and Dokkaebi.

Another impressive match to watch was BDS vs Tempra, which took place on Consulate. For a new team from the Challenger league, Tempra fought all the way through and tied 6-6 against BDS. It was a really unlucky day for BDS fragger Stéphane "Shaiiko'' Lebleu as he was on the bottom of the leaderboard for his team. This match decided BDS’s position for this week and they dropped to second place right behind Rogue. While the two teams have similar wins and losses, Rogue claimed the first spot for this week due to round difference.
