This month’s free games with PS+ have been revealed for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. It’s something of a mixed bag this month, so let’s dive in and see what you can play for free starting Oct. 1.

PS4

The first game coming to PS4 players is the remastered HD version of Resident Evil. Perfect for Halloween, this spooky, scary game will get you hyped for Resident Evil VII.

The second game PS4 players can get in on this month will be Transformers: Devastation. From Platinum Games, Transformers: Devastation is something any 80s Transformers fan should check out, it’s definitely a throwback to the classic style as opposed to the new Michael Bay Transformers.

PS3

The first game coming to PS3 owners in October is Mad Riders. This arcade ATV racing game features fast speeds, big stunts and more. There are also customization options to unlock to keep you racing as fast as you can.

The second PS3 game coming in October is the interesting god game From Dust. Players take the role of a powerful being who transforms an island filled with inhabitants to their liking. This is my personal pick for best game this month, so give it a try.

PS Vita

The first game coming to PS Vita owners in October is Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~. This bizarrely named game is a steampunk visual novel set during the Victorian era and stars five European literary figures like Victor Frankenstein and Abraham Van Helsing.

The last game coming in October is the PS Vita game Actual Sunlight. Another visual novel, this one is more mature, and deals with themes of depression, love and more. Highly praised for its well told story, Actual Sunlight could be the sleeper hit of the bunch here.

So what do you think? Are you interested in trying out any of these games in October? What games do you hope get offered in November? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
