The next online competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon is the Kanto X Alola Regional Rumble, allowing Pokémon from Gen 1 and 7 to square off in singles competition.

Like the last Pokémon Sun and Moon online competition, the prize for those who participate is two Mega Stones that are not available in the Gen 7 games.

Beedrillite and Mawilite were the prizes for the International Competition in February. Now for the Kanto X Alola Regional Rumble, Pidgeotite and Steelixite are the gifts awaiting trainers.

If you want to sign up for the Kanto X Alola Regional Rumble and win the two Mega Stones, follow these steps:

First, log on to your account from the Pokémon Global Link (PGL) homepage and select Online Competitions in the main menu. You’ll then be able to read and accept the regulations on the PGL.

You’ll need a Pokémon Trainer Club account (if you don’t have one you can sign up for one, here) your own Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon video game, and a Battle Team of eligible Pokémon.

Once you’ve signed up for the Kanto X Alola Regional Rumble, you’ll need to download your Digital Player ID within your Sun or Moon copy of the game. To do so, select Festival Plaza on the X menu in your game, select Battle, Visit the Battle Spot, and then Online Competition.

It needs to be noted that when you download your Digital Player ID, the lock on your Battle Team for any previous competitions will be removed.

All you have to do is compete in three battles and you’ll be eligible for the Pidgeotite and Steelixite. When the two Mega Stones will be distributed is unknown but we’ll update when they are available.
