Marvel’s Spider-Man was a big hit at E3 2017, and, following its gameplay demo on Sony’s stage, the development team at Insomniac Games revealed a few tiny details on its Twitter account . Yes there will be alternate outfits for Spidey, and you can preorder the game now.

While the news tidbits were vague at best, here’s what we know. When one fan asked “will alternate outfits for Spidey be in the game,” the official account simply replied “yes.” In other words, while far from a full list of suit confirmations, we do know those who don’t like Insomniac’s custom suit will be able to swap it out for something else.

As far as our hopes for the feature, since this is an original Spider-Man story, we’d like to see Insomniac go hog wild with a variety of options. Like Rocksteady has done with the Batman: Arkham games, it’d be cool to have DLC skins based on established designs like Future Foundation Spider-Man or Black Costume Spider-Man. However, if none of those selections suit the player’s taste, it’d be even better to mix and match designs to create a totally unique protagonist.

Beyond customization, Insomniac also touched on the idea of preorders. While it’s too early to talk collector’s editions or preorder bonuses at this time, the developer did say that retailers can take reservations for the game right now. Those hoping for a PlayStation Network digital download will have to wait until closer to launch.

That policy is none too surprising, of course. Physical preorders are less burdensome to the consumer because they only mandate a small cash deposit that can be easily refunded with a sales receipt. Because the PSN charges the game’s full purchase price immediately, it would make sense for Sony to wait. After having to issue widespread refunds for delays of titles like No Man’s Sky and South Park: The Fractured But Whole, the smartest move is to be judicious.

For those who missed the Marvel’s Spider-Man news coming out of E3, we’ve got a full roundup of every big lead from the show . Want to know the truth behind Mr. Negative and the beef he has with Peter Parker? Does this game have any relation to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming movie? Was that really Miles Morales at the end of the demo, and why is he in this story? We’ve got the answers to those questions and many more.

While the E3 demo was much appreciated, one of its most controversial aspects was the obvious frequency of quicktime events in combat and cinematic scenarios. While these moments will likely be part of the final game when it ships, Insomniac insists that players will be free to explore an open world with a “beefy” amount of content .

Marvel’s Spider-Man is scheduled for release on PS4 sometime in 2018. Speaking to the lack of specificity, Sony Worldwide president Shuhei Yoshida said the company has elected to only announce proper release dates when exclusive games are “very, very close” to complete.
