Gameplay video of the Joker in Injustice 2 has leaked online and shows the Clown Prince of Gotham with a new design and relatively familiar movesets.

The Injustice 2 leaked video was discovered over on NeoGaf and shows gameplay from the French version of the fighting game as well as some screenshots -- including what looks to be one of the Joker customizations that looks an awful lot like the Suicide Squad movie version.

Not many of Joker’s moves were shown in the leaked video -- mostly because the guy playing The Flash was spamming the same punch move over and over -- but we do see that Joker’s laughing gas throw and his low bomb roll does return. Joker’s crowbar attacks make a return as well and we almost got to see his super attack but it failed.

The video of Joker’s gameplay in Injustice 2 has since been removed but with a DC All-Access live stream airing this Friday, and promising a new character, we’ll likely see plenty of Joker gameplay.

Joker’s inclusion in Injustice 2 came to light when the entire trophy/achievements list was revealed and specifically mentioned the Batman villain. It’s curious that the Joker returns to Injustice considering his death in the original game, but if Green Arrow can return then why not Joker?

Injustice 2 releases May 16.

Are you happy Joker is returning to Injustice? What do you think the reason behind his return will be? Let us know your theories in the comments section below.
