In Atlanta episode 6, Paper Boi is taking a break from his rap career and Darius was nowhere to be found. The episode, titled “Value,” was all about Vanessa, Earn’s kind-of girlfriend.

As usual, Atlanta’s music selection was on point this episode. This week’s opener was ‘It’s Forever' by The Ebonys. The song continues to play in the background while Van is out to dinner with her bougie girlfriend, Jayde. The two, who have clearly known each other for quite some time, get in an argument about how women should value themselves. Once the tension is at its peak, ‘This Masquerade’ by George Benson begins to play.

Van storms out of the restaurant, but not before Jayde catches up with her and bribes her with a joint to go out to a listening party that night. Jayde and Van hot box Jayde’s car while listening to ‘Oui’ by Jeremiah.

Van wakes up the next morning with a notification that she has a drug test that day at work. Freaking out, Funkadelic’s ‘Hit It and Quit It’ begins to play and Van gets an idea. She begins to squeeze urine from her baby’s diapers into a bowl. When she realizes the piss from the diapers isn't enough, she takes things a step further. She breaks out a cheese cloth and puts the diaper remnants inside. Then, she boils it all on the stove, puts it in the fridge, and pours it into a condom.

Once she gets into the bathroom to take her drug test, Van can’t figure out how to untie the knot she made on the condom. She attempts to open it with her mouth, but baby’s piss goes everywhere it shouldn't. Needless to say, she gets fired on the spot and immediately texts Alfred for an eighth. She heads back into the classroom and a kid wearing whiteface closes out the episode with a smug grin.

Check back next week for all the songs in Atlanta episode 7, ‘B.A.N.’.
