Work on the new Spider-Man reboot has officially begun and there’s proof! On Tuesday, the first set photos from Spider-Man: Homecoming emerged online, courtesy of Looper. The new face of the franchise, 20-year-old British actor Tom Holland, is seen in suited-up glory during the production of Marvel’s new film. Take a look at the images below:

This is a long time coming for Marvel, which finally have creative control over the Spider-Man film franchise following Sony’s first two attempts. Peter Parker is now a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, along with the rest of the Avengers, which means interrelated storylines and crossover characters. We already know Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, will feature in Homecoming, and Chris Evans expressed interest in joining as Captain America.

Spider-Man was first introduced to the MCU during Captain America: Civil War. His appearance, along with the movie itself, garnered rave reviews and has fans excited for the web-slinger’s next adventure. While plot details still remain under wraps, we know that Homecoming will follow Peter during his high school years as he tries to balance day-to-day life with his superhero activities.

Michael Keaton has been confirmed as Spider-Man: Homecoming’ s main villain, Vulture. The cast also features the likes of Donald Glover, Hannibal Buress, Zendaya and more. Jon Watts is directing, with the film currently shooting in Pinewood Studios in Atlanta.

Spider-Man: Homecoming arrives in theaters July 7, 2017.
