Fire Emblem Heroes has characters from every game in the Fire Emblem franchise, and there are some characters (or units) that excel in Arena battles against other players.
While every unit has their own uses and can be used in a variety of ways, there’s no denying that some units are stronger stat wise, skill wise or how they fit into any team in Fire Emblem Heroes.
If you obtain a five-star focus or five-star unit,you have a pretty good unit to use in battles but there are two units that have already stood out among the rest. The archer Takumi and axe-wielder Hector are the top two characters in Fire Emblem Heroes. What makes them both the best are skills that allow them to counter weapons that other units wouldn’t be able to.
For example, archers cannot counterattack units who attack from one square away. Takumi’s skill allows him to attack anyone up close as well as from long range. Hector is the opposite; any unit trying to hit him from two spaces away will be counterattacked.
But what about the other units? Well, some intrepid players have begun tiering off units based on weapon type to help other players figure out which are the most used in Arena PVP battles and who to try and get when using your orbs to summon heroes.
