The MTV Movie Awards had a bunch of new trailers and footage for upcoming movies and the latest Captain America: Civil War trailer got one of the biggest reactions during the night’s festivities.

Marvel Studio’s third Captain America film, which also sort of acts as a third Avengers movie, debuts May 6 and the latest footage shows Cap leading his new Avengers into a building that is being held by gunmen.

While not all of Cap’s New Avengers from the end of Age of Ultron were shown (Vision and War Machine are not present but are confirmed to be on Team Iron Man), Cap’s new BFF Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon, and the Scarlet Witch are there to help him out.

Fans are then treated to the first footage of Crossbones as he prepares to take on Cap with crazy looking gauntlets. Check out the new Civil War trailer thanks to Comicbook.com , but if you are having trouble seeing the footage, you can also watch it here.

Captain America: Civil War pits Cap and Iron Man against one another after the Winter Soldier reappears in the MCU. Iron Man wants to bring him in (the reason is still unclear) while Cap believes Bucky should be exonerated of his actions because he was brainwashed.

Looming over the conflict is the whole Registration Act that forces super beings to reveal their identities and work for the government.

The latest Civil War trailer shown at the MTV Movie Awards is just the beginning of a big week for Marvel Studios. The first footage for the upcoming Doctor Strange film is coming to J immy Kimmel Live as part of Civil War week, where the cast of the upcoming film will join the late-night talk show host.
