Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Sabotage DLC owners will soon be able to play the new maps in regular playlists. A tweet from Infinity Ward multiplayer designer David Mickner says the change is likely to occur this week.

When asked why new maps like Noir, Renaissance and Neon weren’t accessible in standard mode playlists like Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed, Micker originally said adding them “today is the plan as long as there are no issues.” With time since passed, the developer noted that his team wanted to do a little “extra testing” before the rotation goes live. He added, “this week is still looking good, though.”

Currently, the added maps are limited to a specific DLC playlist or specialty ones.

Because Sabotage is the first major DLC for Infinite Warfare, it’s unclear how the shift will change matchmaking. If Black Ops 3 is any indication, it’s imagined that non-DLC players will be matched with DLC ones when applicable, so the player base doesn’t get split across multiple servers. After all, keeping the game’s multiplayer community healthy and active is likely a paramount concern.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Sabotage DLC released on PS4 at the end of January, and brought four new multiplayer maps and a new Zombies chapter to the existing experience. In fact, we have a Zombies guide for those who still need it. The content is expected to come to Xbox One and PC in early March.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
