Bayonetta ‘Super Smash Bros.’ Amiibo Gets A Sneak Peek To Celebrate ‘Bayonetta 2’ Second Anniversary

Bayonetta 2 released two years ago and Platinum Games is celebrating with a brand new Bayonetta amiibo.

On the official Platinum Games blog, Bayonetta 2 director Yusuke Hashimoto gave a glimpse of what the Bayonetta amiibo will look like (pictured below) and gushed over the love the character has received this year.

Hashimoto even gave players of Bayonetta 2 some tips on how to buy secret items and characters.

“There’s more: To celebrate Bayonetta 2 ’s second anniversary, I’d like to let you in on three secrets you won’t even find in strategy guides!” Hashimoto said in the blog post. ‘Read on to find out where to buy super-secret items and characters, not to mention where to get more Halos than you could ask for to afford them. You’ll also find Tag Climax move lists for Rodin and Balder.”

Bayonetta 2 was re-released back in February and you can buy it for just $29.99.

From Bayonetta’s inclusion in Super Smash Bros. and the announcement of her own amiibo, Platinum Games is enjoying the umbra witch’s growing popularity.

When the Bayonetta amiibo will release in stores is not yet known but the original announcement confirmed that Bayonetta, Cloud and Corrin’s amiibos for Super Smash Bros . will be releasing sometime in 2016.
