Guilty Gear Strive Slayer
Get ready to meet the Slayer. Arc System Works

Arc System Works has announced that a new playable character is arriving in Guilty Gear -Strive- starting May 30. This is going to be the final Season 3 character. In addition to a new character joining the roster, players can look forward to a new battle stage.

Slayer is available for $6.99. However, it's going to be available immediately to those who already have the Season Pass 3.

Welcome the Slayer

This laid-back and dignified vampire Slayer joins the game equipped with an arsenal of moves that can let him change up the tempo of his gameplay. For example, he can easily propel himself forward and rush down opponents. While he may have a calm demeanor, he actually possesses an overwhelming strength when it comes to battle. His code of 'dandyism" is key to taking anything in stride.

The Slayer is a descendent of vampiric lineage and at times human society trivial. Still he continues to admire the tumultuous emotions humans have, finding them not only coveting but also charming. He was the one responsible for creating the Assassin's Guild but has since retired and instead indulges with genuine combat and haikus. The reason he enjoys a rather untroubled life in retirement is because of this immortal wife Sharon, who's immune to aging and bloodsucking.

New Battle Stage

As mentioned, a new Battle Stage is launching at the same time as the new character. It's dubbed as the "Amber Fest with Kind Neighbors," it invited everyone to the town that was introduced back with the Season Pass 1 in "Another Story."

To enjoy the upcoming new content, players need to have the base game. In addition, they'll have to download the latest version of the game.
