The latest update and event for Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links is the return of Rex Raptor but with a brand new buffed deck of dinosaur monsters and cards that any Dino Duelist will salivate over the new cards coming to the game.
Rex Raptor’s Dino Mayhem event runs until Sept. 19 but comes with a ton of new dinosaur cards to beef up dinosaur decks, including Jurassic World, Dark Driceratops and Destroyersaurus.
The duelist will appear at Level 30 and 40 randomly in the Duel World but you’ll definitely want to try and farm him at Level 40, where the rewards have a greater chance to drop.
So how can you farm Rex Raptor? Try out these deck ideas out.
This is the deck I’m using to farm Rex Raptor in Duel Links . The key is to keep Rex’s dinosaurs from becoming too powerful using Jurassic World and Solidarity. The field spell, Acid Downpour will counteract the dinosaurs but Solidarity is the real threat.
Using the Paradox Brothers and the Elements Unite skill gives me the powerful monsters to stave off his attacks. I’ve had success keeping two of the three Jins alive but it’s a big risk and you’re probably better off forming Gate Guardian.
You’ll want to stock up on cards that will give you maximum draw power until you have Gravekeeper’s Vassal, two Union Attack and Secret Pass to the Treasure. I use Ryoku to give Vassal a bit more in attack since I don’t have a third Union Attack.
I slipped in Ultimate Prominence to negate Solidarity if I get it on the field first.
