The Yo-kai Watch movie will be airing in theatres on Oct. 15 for special, one-time limited showings at 11 a.m. local time. The movie features the same voice talent of the Yo-kai Watch show airing now on Disney XD.

In a press release, the plot of Yo-kai Watch: The Movie is summarized as follows:

"In YO-KAI WATCH: THE MOVIE EVENT, Jibanyan, Whisper, and Nate meet a heroic Yo-kai named Hovernyan, and must travel back in time to team up with Nate’s adolescent grandfather to stop an evil Yo-kai from taking over the world! Can they discover the secret origin of the Yo-kai Watch and save humanity before time runs out!?

This exciting one-day event also introduces a whole new tribe of Yo-kai, new locations, and ties-in with the YO-KAI WATCH 2 video games for Nintendo 3DS.”

Attendees may receive a limited-edition Yo-Motion Yo-kai medal of Hovernyan, the movie’s hero, while supplies last. The Hovernyan medal works with Hasbro’s Yo-kai Watch Model Zero toy. You can also scan the QR code on the back into the Yo-kai Watch 2 3DS games for a special reward.
