Last night on Monday Night RAW, WWE CEO Vince McMahon announced that his daughter Stephanie will be the head of RAW and his son Shane will be the head of SmackDown. While this wasn’t too surprising, Vince mentioned both have to name a general manager. If leaked screenshots are to be believed, it looks like we know who the GM of SmackDown will be.

According to the screenshot posted by redditor ohgreatishit, WWE sent out an article after RAW mentioning the “Yes! Movement” coming to SmackDown. This means that Daniel Bryan will likely be the GM of SmackDown, working under Shane. Having a very popular figure like Bryan on SmackDown, who has been off TV for a while now, will also help boost ratings.

This is a great pick, and not that big of a surprise. Shane is a face, so picking another mega-face to work with makes sense. Bryan has also shown interest in returning to the wrestling scene, given his commentary duties on the Cruiserweight Classic.

The rumor feels true, given that WWE updated the article to remove the “Yes! Movement” text. This seems like WWE is covering its tracks. Like any internet rumor, however, this should not be taken as a fact. WWE is also known to make massive game-changing decisions seconds before they need to happen, so this could all be changed by the time you read it.

So what do you think? Would you be excited to see Daniel Bryan as the GM of SmackDown? Who do you want to see as the GM of RAW? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
