Fans can get a sneak peek of what’s to come in World of Final Fantasy a week before it’s release date.

Square Enix will release a demo for World of Final Fantasy on Oct. 17 for PlayStation 4. It’ll give players a chance to familiarize themselves with twins Reynn and Lann, and the new Mirage system. Players will be able to “ trap” Mirages in the game and use them during battle. You’ll be able to power up your Mirages, which also have different skills that will be useful during boss fights.

iDigitalTimes was able to play the demo during Square Enix’s press event at New York Comic Con 2016. Check out our first impressions of World of Final Fantasy here .

World of Final Fantasy is meant to introduce previous Final Fantasy characters to a new generation of players, but older players will experience the nostalgia all the same. You’ll see your favorite characters like Squall, Tidus, Yuna, Tifa, Cloud and more. Another cool aspect of World of Final Fantasy is previously unvoiced characters such as Cactuar and Aeons will now talk to players. That’s right, you’ll hear what your favorite Aeons sound like for the very first time.

World of Final Fantasy also does a hat-tip to the franchise’s old-school, turn-based gameplay. Players will be able to switch between turn-based and active mode depending on their preferences, as well as fast-forward through battles when they want to speed things along. Check out the full trailer for World of Final Fantas y in the video above. World of Final Fantasy will be released on PS4 and PS Vita Oct. 25.
