It’s Xur day, Destiny fans!
This week, Xur can be found in the Tower Hangar
The weekly wait for the Agent of the Nine’s return to the Tower has ended. Xur has returned for another weekend of exotic item sales, just as he does each and every Friday morning, The latest trip comes just days after Bungie used its Twitch channel to show off new locations from Destiny: Rise Of Iron, including a new section of the Cosmodrome linking the original patrol zone to the Plaguelands. It also brings us one step closer to the point at which Xur’s weekly trips to the Tower becomes much less interesting for those playing Destiny on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.
Last week, the Agent of the Nine made another underwhelming trip to the only human city left on Earth. Granted, Xur set up shop in the Reef, instead of one of the three wings of the Tower. And it was one of the rare occasions when Bungie wasn’t forced to move the vendor back to a non-bugged spot in the game’s main social hub. That said, we’re not sure anybody can still muster excitement about the chance to buy Ruin Wings at this point. Much less other frequently appearing items like Young Ahamkara’s Spine or Light Beyond Nemesis. But will this week be any different?

As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks. And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with green and red contrails available this week, along with the usual Motes of Light and Heavy Ammo Synthesis. Glass Needles can also be purchased from Xur this weekend.
