In Pretty Little Liars Season 7 episode 2, which airs at 8 p.m. EDT Tuesday, Hanna will meet Mary Drake after escaping “Uber A” or “AD.” Hanna has experienced a host of terrible acts while captured by AD, including water torture. Considering she was especially affected when Charlotte was A and locked the Liars in her dollhouse, Hanna will surely struggle once she gains her freedom.
After having a dream where Spencer encourages her to escape her prison, in Season 7 episode 1, Hanna figures a way to climb out. She escapes into a wooded area where she tries to hitchhike, first to no avail, but eventually a car stops for her and the driver is Mary Drake.
Hanna wasn’t around when the Liars figured out that Mary Drake is Jessica DiLaurentis’ twin sister, so she is sure to be in for a shock. In a promo, the two drive together and Mary tells Hanna “Sometimes secrets are actual people.” Will Hanna think Mary Drake is good or a evil? We will find out in the upcoming episode, called “Bedlam,” which is best viewed on television or live online through Freeform Live .
There is also a lot of mystery surrounding Alison’s mental hospital stay. It appears the Liars think her husband Elliot is up to something. There are also some moments in the promo that may get “Emison” fans excited. Alison calls for Emily in tears as she leaves her hospital room. There have be been many rumors, including mentions from actresses Sasha Pietrese, Shay Mitchell and executive producer I. Marlene King that Alison and Emily will have some sort of resolution of their relationship during Season 7. But in a future episode, Emily will ask Sabrina, the barista at Ezra’s coffee shop out on a date, but she rejects Emily’s offer.
Meanwhile, Ezra and Aria are still writing their book, and Aria’s boyfriend is helping Ezra edit what they have so far (drama much?). Ezra and Liam come to a tension-filled impasse, where they seem to be fighting over Aria more than working on the book. It appears Liam doesn’t know much about Aria’s past with Ezra? Or does he?
