Nintendo released its first quarter fiscal earnings report for 2017 and it confirms some upcoming Nintendo Switch titles, including Pokémon, Fire Emblem and more.

While these fiscal earnings reports often show earnings and growth within a given time period, plans for the future are often announced for shareholders to see. And this new report lists all of the announced first-party Nintendo Switch titles coming in 2017 and beyond.

In Nintendo’s Supplementary Information portion of the report, the list of Nintendo Switch titles includes new installments of the Fire Emblem and Pokémon franchises for Nintendo Switch, as well as games starring Kirby and Yoshi. There are no announced titles for any of these games slated to release in 2018.

The 2018 release date windows for those titles were announced during Nintendo’s E3 2017 presentation, but it seems Pokémon for Switch may take a little longer than expected; the report specifies a release in “2018 or later.” While the prospect of Pokémon Nintendo Switch dropping in 2018 is still there, it is more likely that it will release in 2019.

The Pokémon Company will release Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon in November for the 3DS. It would be impressive if the Pokémon Switch game comes just a year later on a brand new console, especially when there was no news given outside of the announcement at E3.

Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime revealed at E3 that Pokémon on Switch will be a traditional Pokémon adventure so fans won’t have to worry about the formula changing too much when the console switch happens.

As for the announced Metroid Prime 4 (a temporary title), the latest financial report doesn’t give any release date window. There wasn’t any information given about the new Metroid game at E3, so it’s not surprising there is no release date window.

We do know that Metroid Prime 4 will be done by a brand new studio, but the producer of the first three Prime games will be on-board, so it’s in good hands.
