The first details on TwitchCon 2017 are now out in the wild, courtesy of the event’s official website and an accompanying press release, including confirmation that Twitch will move its annual celebration to a third city in as many years. And you even have an extra month to save up for this year’s trip.

According to a press release, TwitchCon 2017 will move the newest addition to the video game convention circuit from San Diego to Long Beach, CA . Just like last year’s show, TwitchCon 2017 will last three days, Oct. 20-22 , and include dozens (maybe hundreds) of Twitch partners, smaller streamers and the site’s community together under one (really big) roof. TwitchCon 2016 attracted more than 35,000 visitors and, based on the company’s reasons for moving the show again this year, it seems safe to assume Twitch wants that number to be even higher in 2017.

“Our goal this year is to continue celebrating all things Twitch, including the newer broader scope of content on our platform,” said new Director of TwitchCon Krystal Herring. “With our IRL category for vlogging and our upcoming mobile streaming app, even people who can’t attend will be able to connect with their favorite broadcasters and friends who can.”

Twitch says moving to Long Beach gives fans more travel options, particularly those who have to fly in from outside the state, and more choices for entertainment, food and lodging once they reach California. More than 150 restaurants can be found within a 10-block radius of the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center and Twitch says they’ve negotiated better travel and hotel discounts for TwitchCon 2017. The company also says it will release information on ticket sales and the convention schedule “in the coming months.”
