Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, millions of people are under self-isolation and the best thing to do is stay at home and play video games. Square Enix decided to support those at home by releasing both 2013's rebooted Tomb Raider and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris for free so that you can enjoy their games while you are under quarantine.

The official Tomb Raider Twitter account sent out a message that read: “We’re warmed by stories of communities banding together during these uncertain times and are offering a gift to keep friends & family connected through play.”

To grab the games, you can head to Square Enix's website, or you can just go to the Steam store and type "Tomb Raider" in the search bar to claim your copies for free.

How to get your Tomb Raider PC copy:

  • Go to the Square Enix Store
  • Purchase the games below, which will be marked as $0.00 through Monday, March 23 at 11:59PM PDT

  • Once in the order confirmation page you will see the red “UNLOCK THE ACTIVATION KEY” button once more. Please note - This may take a few minutes as your order is processing

  • Hover down and select “ACTIVATE A PRODUCT ON STEAM…”
  • Follow the instructions until you get to the field to enter your key

Tomb Raider is a bit on the older side, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun to play. Its story is very immersive and you will grind through all the levels while acquiring more skills. Square Enix has also put a massive sale on Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider on the Steam store if you want to keep your adventure going.

So, what are your thoughts on Square Enix’s gesture giving out Tomb Raider and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris? Are you planning on getting the other Tomb Raider games as well? Personally, I would get as many games as possible so I can have some fun while being quarantined. Whatever your thoughts may be, let us know in the comments below.
