Another weekend of Titanfall 2 multiplayer action is here, and some of you may be wondering how you can join up with friends to take down titans and power up your own. The new Networks system may be a little confusing, so we’re here to help you out.

Titanfall 2 Multiplayer Parties

To get started playing with friends in Titanfall 2, first someone from your group will have to make a Network. To do this, follow the following steps:

  • Go to Network on the menu

  • Go to “My Networks” under the Network tab

  • Go to the Admin tab, and create a Network

From here, name your network something, and set it to be social, listed and public.

Now that the network is made, get all of your friends to join it. To join a network, do the following:

  • Go to Network on the menu

  • Go to “Browse”

  • Type in the name of the Network you want to join

  • Be sure to change the “MEMBERS” option to “Any”

  • Search

The Network you created should pop up, and everyone can join it.

Once you have a Network and all of your friends have joined it, go up to Play on the menu, and select “Invite Network.” This will send out an invitation to everyone in the network to join in the next game.

In our experiences, this will only work for one game. If people in the same network do not leave matchmaking, they will end up in different games. To continue playing with the same group of people, it’s best to leave matchmaking after every game, go back to the menu, and invite your network all over again.

Here’s to Respawn making this easier moving forward.

So what do you think? Have you gotten the hang of playing Titanfall 2 with friends yet? Would you rather Respawn use a more traditional matchmaking system? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
