Super Bowl 50 is coming up this weekend, featuring the Carolina Panthers squaring off against the Denver Broncos. The annual, and biggest, sporting event of the year takes place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. While the game itself is the main attraction, what can make the Super Bowl really memorable are the performances (Whitney Houston National Anthem!), halftime performances and hilarious commercials.

On Tuesday, The Associated Press reported Lady Gaga will be singing The Star-Spangled Banner and Academy Award winner Marlee Matlin will also be performing in American Sign Language during the national anthem.

As for the halftime show, Coldplay will headlining the event and Entertainment Tonight is reporting that Bruno Mars will be on stage as well. Pepsi confirmed that Beyoncé will also be joining the band for the halftime show -- Beyoncé and Coldplay recently collaborated on A Head Full of Dreams . Beyoncé previously headlined and had her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams perform for a bit at Super Bowl XLVII.

Apart from the halftime show, the Super Bowl is known for its commercials. According to Business Insider, a 30-second slot this year costs advertisers $5 million, which is 11 percent higher than last year. Many of the commercials have already been released leading up to the big game including Skittles’ ad featuring Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler, Budweiser’s campaign with Oscar-winner Helen Mirren, Hyundai’s commercial with Ryan Reynolds, T-Mobile’s ad featuring rapper Drake, and Colgate’s PSA encouraging people to conserve water.

Super Bowl 50 will be broadcast by CBS. Fans can watch it live on CBS and CBSSports.com. Fans can the sporting event on their smartphone, Windows 10 computer, Surface Tablet or Xbox One via the interactive NFL app. The event begins at 6 p.m. EST with the kickoff taking place at 6:30 p.m. EST.
