The latest addition to Street Fighter V is Ibuki, the kunoichi with the sick moves and assortment of weapons, who returns to Capcom’s latest fighting game as a DLC character soon.

You can check out the awesome reveal trailer above.

Ibuki comes to Street Fighter V with a few new tricks up her ninja sleeves as she is now able to glide in the air to keep herself airborne while avoiding attacks. She also comes equipped with ninja bombs to augment her combos, sending her opponent into the air for chaining deadly combos and strikes.

According to Capcom Unity, Ibuki will also come with her signature kunai but there is a catch in Street Fighter V. Ibuki will only be allowed to carry and launch five kunai at a time before having to get more. However, you can be more strategic about Ibuki’s kunai by deciding how many you wish to launch at once. Launching all five at a time will inflict serious damage.

Ibuki can also launch energy from her palms once she charges up her Tenrai. The longer you charge, the further the range of her attack.

Her V-Trigger, Isshaku Horokudama, allows Ibuki to dig into her bag of ninja tools and throw a bomb at the opponent. Depending on which direction is held upon activation, the bomb can either go off quickly, after a slight delay or after a longer delay.

Capcom Unity even teased that there may be other ways to trigger the bomb’s explosion.

After the explosion, Ibuki will launch at the airborne opponent and perform a large blast attack.

The Capcom Unity blog also revealed that there will be a new stage coming with the next Street Fighter V update. And with the Story Mode finally coming in June, SFV looks to get a much needed boost in the coming month.
