‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Release Date Revealed In Super Bowl 51 Trailer

Get ready for a trip back to the Upside Down in Stranger Things Season 2. The Netflix original series dropped a trailer during Super Bowl 51 revealing the show will return on Oct. 31.

This gives the internet eight months to figure out what’s going on with Eleven and if Will is carrying a demon baby inside of him. Last we saw Will, he was in a bathroom throwing up what looked like slugs. Of course, we don’t know if Will was actually throwing up slugs or if he’s suffering from PTSD.

Poor Will, the kid can’t catch a break. First, he’s kidnapped by the Demogorgon. Next, the weirdos from Hawkins National Laboratory fake his death. And then when he’s finally rescued from the Upside Down, he goes home only to find himself emotionally scarred. Mike’s probably going to be too obsessed with finding Eleven to realize his best friend is going through some things.

Speaking of Eleven, we’re curious as to how the show will explain her return. It seemed like she’s vanished to the Upside Down to keep the Demogorgon thing from killing her friends. Eleven might be the only one who can control the monster, but she must be pretty weak after using all of her powers to banish it at the end of season 1.

It’s possible the monster could escape and go back for Will, as he might be carrying something inside of him that thing might need to survive. The greatness of Stranger Things comes from it’s weird twists and turns. What if Barb is still alive only she’s now carrying the Demogorgon spawn? Yeah, no let’s Barb rest in peace. She was the real hero in Stranger Things . We all know it to be true.
