As you undoubtedly found out through your Facebook friends, today, May 4, is Star Wars Day. What does this mean? Mostly a bunch of memes that say “May the Fourth be with you.” But (!) some members of the Star Wars universe used today as an opportunity to tease the latest Star Wars news, which is exactly what Hollywood director Chris Miller did earlier today. If you haven’t heard of Chris Miller yet, you will soon, as he’s tasked with helming one of Disney’s Star Wars anthology films alongside his directing partner, Phil Lord. Does a Han Solo origin movie ring a bell?

Miller and Lord, best known for directing the Jump Street franchise, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and The LEGO Movie, could very well be on the verge of beginning production for the Han Solo movie. Miller took to Twitter to share a photo of you-know-who’s blaster to tease the upcoming film. Take a look below:

Hmm, does this indicate that principal photography is about to get underway? The untitled Han Solo film is set to release in Spring 2018, just about two years from now. That timing certainly lends credence to the possibility of production beginning in the near future, but shooting dates have yet to be confirmed.

And how could they, when we don’t even know who will be starring as the young Han Solo. There’s been loads of speculation ranging from Miles Teller to Dave Franco, but recent reports indicate that Blue Jasmine and Hail, Caesar! actor Alden Ehrenreich is currently the frontrunner. Hopefully a lead is signed sooner than later. He’s going to need a lot of practice to perfect that classic Han Solo smugness.

The yet-untitled Han Solo film is set to arrive in theaters May 25, 2018.
