Making Star Wars claims to have sources who worked on the set of Star Wars: Episode 8 and they have some impressive new details to share about Supreme Leader Snoke’s role in the Force Awakens sequel.

No, that hologram was not a bluff. Supreme Leader Snoke is not secretly Yoda’s height. Instead, Snoke will be played in Episode 8 by an eight-foot tall puppet. That’s right, Rian Johnson is Dark Crystal- lizing the next Star Wars.

According to MSW, Snoke “will be a huge puppet around seven or eight feet tall, taking several people to operate and a man inside a suit to make him walk.”

It remains unclear exactly how big a role the Snoke puppet will have in Star Wars: Episode 8 , but the presence of a full-size puppet rig suggest he’ll interact with human characters like Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma and General Hux.

Presumably, Episode 8 will also shed some light on the exact nature of the relationships between Rey, Supreme Leader Snoke, Kylo Ren and his Knights of Ren when it hits theaters Dec. 15, 2017.
