The Star Wars Battlefront 2 release date is not until Nov. 17, but dataminers have already dived into the current open beta to discover new details in the latest PC demo. This week, YouTuber Darth kenobi shared a series of videos that revealed new information about SWB2’s Arcade Mode, complete with everything related to maps, modes and customization options.

When players set up a custom Arcade battle, they are given two main archetypes to choose from:

  • Team Battle : Team battle pits two teams against each other in a fight to the finish. Set up your own Arcade to recreate your battle fantasies.
  • Onslaught : Onslaught is the ultimate test of speed and strength. Can you wipe out the opposing troopers within the time limit? Create a bespoke challenge to put Star Wars Battlefront's legendary characters through their paces.

Within these two frameworks, players can customize matches in dozens of different ways:

  • Custom Team Battle: Location, Player Team Size, Enemy Team Size, Troops Available, AI Skill, Health Modifier, Modifiers: Play As, Minimap Rules, AI classes
  • Custom Onslaught: Location, Enemy Troops, Time Limit, Intensity Level, AI Skill, Player Lives, Health Modifier, Modifiers: Play As, Minimap Rules, AI Classes

In addition to the Theed setup that’s playable in the beta, these locations were also revealed:

  • Mos Eisley [Tatooine]: Empire intel reports point to a Rebel group using Mos Eisley as a supply point. In a surprise attack, the Empire moves into the city trying to root out any Rebels in the area.
  • Kamino [Cloning Facility]: The Separatists have launched an attack against a cloning facility on Kamino to shut down the production for good.
  • Yavin 4 [The Great Temple]: The Empire attacks the Alliance base on Yavin 4 in hope of acquiring secret data that could undermine the power of the Alliance fleet.
  • Starkiller Base: [Command Center]: During the Battle Of Starkiller Base, the Resistance makes a desperate attempt at freeing the prisoners held at the Command Center.

As an alternative to to custom matches, Arcade Mode also features Light Side and Dark Side missions similar to the offline component of 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront. While the Light Side menu was largely unfinished, the following Dark Side mission names could be read:

  • Wipe Them Out
  • Roger, Roger
  • Unlimited Power
  • Scum and Vigilance
  • Finish What You Started
  • Hope Cannot Save Them
  • Rebels, Blast Them
  • Embrace The Dark Side

It’s unclear if this is the full roster of available missions, but we imagine the list is fairly complete considering the game is set to launch in November.

Arcade Mode is a brand-new AI bot mode featured in Star Wars Battlefront 2. Scripted and customized objectives can be tackled alone or with a friend in split-screen co-op. Solid performance of these tasks at high difficulty levels offers credit bonuses that can be spent on loot crates to expand your multiplayer loadout. As noted in our Battlefront 2 beta guide, Arcade is a great place for newcomers to get used to the fundamentals of the game.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is available Nov. 17 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The open beta is scheduled to conclude Oct. 9 at 4 a.m. EDT.
