Toddlers brought a lot of hype to The Sims 4 and the creative team clearly wants to keep the momentum going with a toddler-themed stuff pack dropping later this summer. The pack was announced in the quarterly teaser and so far we know very little about the gameplay and clothing that will be included. Take a look at the clip below.

As far as new additions go, it looks like a new dollhouse shaped like a tree will be at the center. There’s also a huge toy chest, which could involve some gameplay as well. Even with these new large objects, Simmers, of course, were quick to complain. The icon was a topic of conversation, with players wondering why the blocks with the letters ‘A,B,C’ were written in english not Simlish.

SimGuruGraham was quick to respond in one of many tweets. “Simlish is for Sims. Icons are for players.”

Players then began to ask about objects like a rocking chair, stroller and bunk beds. SimGuruGraham shot down those rumors in multiple tweets.

“Not in a Stuff Pack. Perhaps in a larger pack,” he said, continuing in another tweet. “Unlikely in a Stuff Pack. Not sure if you've seen my discussions about things like Lounge Chairs, Swings, etc. Same concept here.”

Players kept going with the questions, including asking why there are no sectional sofas in the game. SimGuruGraham, god bless his soul, kept responding.

“I believe sectional sofas would require some work from our build engineers, who aren't allocated to Stuff Packs, so... look to larger packs.”

“Can making beds be a thing,” one player asked. “Perhaps someday? That won't be in this Stuff Pack though,” the Guru responded.

And the least chill question of all criticized the Sims team for not releasing enough game packs and expansion packs.

“Using our past release cadence as a way to guess what we do next just won't be a particularly accurate way to predict Sims 4 releases.”

It’s safe to say this five-second quarterly teaser video made for some intense conversation on Twitter. It could be because The Sims just released a family-themed game pack called Parenthood, which could have included some of the stuff we are seeing in this teaser. There was also a Kids Stuff pack earlier this year. Why weren't some of these features included in previous DLCs?

Stay tuned for more information on Sims 4: Toddlers stuff when the gameplay trailer releases in a few weeks.
