There’s a few different ways you can approach these cheats. If you just want an easier way to help your children gain character value, the best way is to simply use the parenting skill cheat. This way, you won’t have to read any parenting books or research for tips online, but you’ll get to see how your children evolve with your direction. You’ll have all the parenting social options available right off the bat, which will help you control your children’s behavior and shape what kind of person they become. Otherwise, if you’re starting from parenting zero, it’s going to be a lot harder to assist their growth.

To start, make sure testing cheats is enabled. Press Control + Shift +C to access command. Enter: testingcheats true or testingcheats on . If you get a message that reads 'cheats enabled,’ then you know you’ve done it right.
