Shadow of the Colossus will join the long list of big budget PS4 releases to get its own Photo Mode, Sony and Bluepoint confirmed on Tuesday. Fans got their first look at that offering this week, via seven new screenshots showing off different filters and effects from the PS4-exclusive feature.

Photo Mode has become one of the most popular and commonly-requested features for new PS4 titles since debuting in The Last of Us Remastered. Fans love Photo Mode because it gives them a chance to flex their creative muscles without spending crazy money on a fancy camera. Developers love Photo Mode because it allows them to flesh out remastered hits when bringing them to modern hardware. So it’s not a huge shock to see Shadow of the Colossus getting its own Photo Mode when the game hits PS4 next month.

Bluepoint Games Art Director Mark Skelton says fans can expect one of the most powerful camera suites in the PS4 catalog when Shadow of the Colossus returns to stores next month. “The thing that makes Photo Mode stand out is its power and flexibility,” he wrote on the PlayStation Blog. “Everything that I had access to as the Art Director, you have access to as the player.”

Players won’t just be limited to visual effects, like filters or color balancing, when Shadow of the Colossus hits PS4. The game’s art director says players can reposition the camera, as we’ve seen in most other photo modes, or even switch focus from Wander to Agro. The team even thought to make the camera pivotable, a full 90 degrees, to make it easier for Shadow of the Colossus fans to create their own cell phone wallpapers. Skelton says players can even leave some filters enabled while playing, to add to the overall experience.

Head over to the PlayStation Blog for more preview shots from Shadow of the Colossus’ Photo Mode. Or if you’d rather check out some gameplay, while we count down the last few weeks until launch day, check out the SotC footage published by PlayStation Underground last month.

Shadow of the Colossus is in development for PS4. The game debuts Feb. 6.
