Rainbow Six Siege’s The Esports Club League just concluded their first playday for division three matches. The tournament has a prize pool of $1,800, which is very high for the South Asia competitive scene. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all the matches will be held online instead of the more traditional LAN environment. The prize pool of the tournament will be split and awarded to the top five teams in every division. You can find the prize pool split here.

The ongoing The Esports Club League is a league-based competition, where every team will have to face all their opponents from the same division. After all the matches are played out, every team will have earned points that are determined by the team's wins. The bottom three teams of every division will get demoted to the lower division, or even relegated if you are in division three, which is the lowest division in this league. You can watch the live streams on the TEC YouTube page.

The most exciting matchup for the first playday was between Team L2K and KL11 Esports. The match was played on Kafe Dostoyevsky, which is a strategy-heavy map. The score went 7-4 in the favor of L2K, with Ratz.- carrying his team with nine kills after rehost. L2K was able to play super aggressively on the defense, denying KL11’s entry points. This aggression from L2K allowed them to take the map, which helped them gain a point for this match.

Another exciting match to watch was between Sangfroid Esports and Psync Ignite. This match was also played on Kafe Dostoyevsky. The score went 7-3 in the favor of Psync, with Sangfroid being countered in almost every round. Psync did their homework on Sangfroid, which allowed Psync to get many free kills and easily win rounds.
