The cast list for the 2017 Twin Peaks revival is daunting. Not only will much of the original cast return, but the new Twin Peaks episodes coming to Showtime will add Jim Belushi, Monica Bellucci, Laura Dern, Ernie Hudson, Ashley Judd, Matthew Lillard, Trent Reznor, Tim Roth, Tom Sizemore, Eddie Vedder, Naomi Watts and dozens more. The new Twin Peaks looks daunting. And if you haven’t watched the original Twin Peaks in a few years, then you might forget all the spinning plates already in motion. But Lynchnet has your back, reproducing an awesome collection of 1991 Twin Peaks trading cards that highlight so much of what made Twin Peaks such a landmark and beloved series.

Not only does the complete trading card set issued by Star Pics in ‘91 include what you’d expect, like characters, it also has cards for stuff like “Cherry Pie” and “Corpse.”

As far as Twin Peaks ephemera goes, you can’t get much better than this. The intro card “Welcome to Twin Peaks” includes a message directly from Sheriff Harry S. Truman (unfortunately, Michael Ontkean isn’t returning for the revival):

"Call it what you want. A mood. A feeling.

On behalf of the residents of Twin Peaks, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to visit us today. I know you're going to enjoy your tour.

When I look back on these past six years as Sheriff, it's hard to believe all that's happened here in Twin Peaks. The town's really grown, and the people are changing. Business is booming. And this year, Twin Peaks High School made it to the state finals in wrestling with a co-educational squad. Unfortunately, crime's up. But I've got a real strong, conscientious team working with the FBI to solve these horrible injustices.

As you embark upon your self-guided tour, feel free to stop and talk with the townspeople. You're getting a real insider's look into a place that's different. It's a place where, as FBI Special Agent Cooper has said, "The have a cherry pie that'll kill you. Douglas firs. A yellow light that still means slow down, not speed up. Jelly donuts. A damn good cup of coffee. And air as fresh and crisp as a cracker."

The complete collection of Twin Peaks trading cards, plus cards highlighting famous moments in the show, like The Giant telling Agent Cooper “the owls are not what they seem” or when Pete finds that fish in the percolator. They’re as weird as the show that spawned them.

Brush up on the full collection before the 2017 Twin Peaks revival premieres May 21.
